The role
Our Project Officer Urban Renewal & Environment provides a range of specialised administration including statutory record keeping practices in strict accordance with the NSW Environmental Planning & Assessment Act-1979 (EP&A Act) requirements.
This position is the first point of contact with regards to Account Management and external organisations, answering enquiries regarding financial matters in relation to orders, review and payment of invoices and arranging for and assisting with quotes as required and ensures the accurate and efficient management of centralised electronic records and information systems by coordinating data input, distributing information, delegating administrative tasks to team members, and preparing meeting documentation, enabling timely access to reliable information and supporting effective decision-making by SOPA managers.
You will bring sound knowledge of office administration procedures, knowledge of SAP Financial Management System or a similar major accounting system and demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying legislative requirements.
