The role

We’re seeking a Property Management Officer who will play a pivotal role in supporting the effective management of Crown land. This position is essential to keeping our operations running seamlessly, responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate land information, and ensuring that our work meets regulatory and community expectations.

 

 What you’ll be doing

In this dynamic and varied role, you will:

 

Provide trusted advice

  • Deliver balanced, timely written and verbal advice on routine Crown land matters
  • Support stakeholders with clear, consistent guidance on licences, landowner consents, road enquiries, and general property-related issues

Deliver exceptional frontline service

  • Be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally
  • Build positive relationships with landholders, community members, and internal teams

Support property management activities

  • Undertake routine inspections and on-ground activities to support responsible land management
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of land information data

Keep our information systems running smoothly

  • Maintain electronic records, ensuring files are created, stored, retrieved, and archived accurately
  • Contribute to timely responses by ensuring information is well-organised and accessible

Contribute to organisational effectiveness

  • Prepare information, updates, and reports for management
  • Provide general administrative and office support to keep operations running efficiently

 

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities
  • Confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, especially when working with data and records
  • Interested in land management, compliance, or property-related work
  • A team player who enjoys contributing to a positive, solutions-focused environment

 

Essential requirements

· Tertiary qualifications in property management or other relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience

· Current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel.
