The role

This is a targeted role under GSE Rule 26 and people with disability (as defined in Disability Discrimination Act 1992) are encouraged to apply.

You’ll play a hands on‑ role in supporting the work of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF), helping projects run smoothly from planning through to delivery. Day to day, you’ll keep things moving by organising meetings, tracking progress, managing information, and supporting reporting so everyone stays informed and aligned. You’ll also contribute to engagement activities that build interest in the facility and strengthen connections with industry, government and the community.

This role suits someone who enjoys balancing priorities, working across different projects, and collaborating with a wide range of people. You’ll help manage competing deadlines and stakeholder expectations by communicating clearly, staying organised, and finding practical solutions when challenges arise. With support from your manager, you’ll take responsibility for your work, contribute ideas to improve systems and processes, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard.

What you will bring to the role

Demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of complex projects

  • High level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and competing demands. 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute to group efforts and support colleagues in achieving objectives. 

What is an essential requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated, equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
