DCCEEW’s Strategic Policy, Science and Engagement division is now accepting applications to join us as an Executive Assistant.
As Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director and the broader Science and Insights Division. You will provide high-level executive support, managing competing priorities, coordinating communications, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. From diary management and stakeholder engagement to preparing meeting papers and organising critical business activities, this is an opportunity to work at the centre of major initiatives that shape the future of climate, energy, water and environmental science in NSW.
About You
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can provide executive-level support with discretion, integrity and professionalism. You are motivated, adaptable and confident working with senior stakeholders across government, and you pride yourself on your ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Your strong communication skills, problem-solving mindset and commitment to collaboration will help you excel in this role.
You will bring:
- Experience providing executive and administrative support at a senior level
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism
- High-level interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Sound judgment, integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters
- Proficiency in using a range of technologies and systems to improve efficiency and service delivery
