The role
These are hands‑on marketing role where you’ll turn big, complex ideas into clear, compelling campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and investment. Working from the ground up, you’ll shape and deliver integrated marketing and advertising activity that cuts through, creating smart, audience‑led content, managing campaigns end‑to‑end, and partnering closely with internal teams, government stakeholders and industry to deliver outcomes that matter. You’ll balance momentum and pace, adapting quickly as priorities shift while keeping quality, compliance and impact front of mind.
There are two roles available. One role sits within BDA, with a strong focus on delivery of Bradfield City’s go‑to‑market activities, including agency management and owning delivery and optimisation of campaigns and marketing activities in a fast‑moving environment. The other role is aligned to AMRF, focusing on driving commercial outcomes through communications campaigns and marketing activities, translating complex manufacturing and innovation stories into practical, engaging communications that support long‑term industry growth and stakeholder engagement.

Senior Marketing Advisor
What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in delivering marketing and/or advertising campaigns in a complex and diverse operating environment, with marketing in development or manufacturing industries highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing external media or creative agencies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of autonomy, confidently taking initiative and ownership of decisions.
What is an essential requirement:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Valid Driver’s license and the willingness/ability to travel to locations not accessible by public transport
