This role is all about being the person who keeps things moving. The Assistant Project Officer plays a key role in keeping projects running smoothly. Working within the Major Projects Advisory team, the role provides support to the Secretariat for Independent Expert Advisory Panels for Mining and the Energy Transition, and assists with a range of procurement, finance, and administrative activities.
The role also supports Major Projects Advisory teams by administering Memorandums of Understanding, assisting with agency engagement, and delivering general administrative support across the wider Major Projects Advisory function.
This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive professional who enjoys coordinating tasks, supporting advisory processes, and contributing to the delivery of complex projects.
