About the role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has opportunities for Assistant Project Officer to work as part of the team.
The Assistant Project Officer supports the Hawkesbury -Natai Area, Rangers and Team Leader Rangers to meet operational needs and support delivery of programs in relation to fire, pest and weed management, cultural heritage and stakeholder engagement.
The role includes providing technical support across a range of systems including corporate systems , mapping, budget and procurement. It includes working collaboratively across the Area to improve efficiency and consistency.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be applying your knowledge and experience to understand and provide practical support, guidance and solutions to staff on a variety of issues across the Hawkesbury -Nattai Area
Your strong communication skills are essential for the success of this role. The ideal candidate will be motivated to drive a positive and collaborative culture throughout the team.
