About the role
Step into the dynamic world of sport as a Solicitor at the Office of Sport, where your days will be anything but routine. You will provide legal services across a generalist practice in 5 core workstreams advisory, transaction, legislation, litigation and other government business.
This position promises a variety of work with a supportive and professional experience.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have experience in providing written legal advice and experience in one or more of the following: drafting contracts and other transactional documents, litigation including court process, advising on legislative reform or handling government matters including privacy, applications made under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, Standing Orders and other government specific issues.
Your communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and provide clear and comprehensive legal advice that helps steer the Office of Sport towards its strategic priorities. You will need to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, all while maintaining a high standard of ethical practice and integrity. If this sounds like you, we can't wait to meet you.
