- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $99,938 pa to $110,271 pa plus superannuation
We’re looking for an Assessment Officer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality outcomes for the NSW electricity network.
In this role, you’ll support electricity network projects through research, analysis, assessment, reporting and administration — all while keeping project plans on track and stakeholders informed.
What You’ll Do
As our Assessment Officer, you will:
- Assess application materials relating to land acquisition applications.
- Provide project and operational support, ensuring key milestones, deliverables and budgets remain on track.
- Maintain and update documentation, records and project materials to support compliance with project methodology.
- Conduct basic research and analysis to contribute to project briefs and support informed decision‑making.
- Work closely with the program team to complete tasks and implement project plans for successful project outcomes.
- Engage with stakeholders, providing clear updates on project progress and implementation matters.
- Deliver a range of administrative and secretariat services, including coordinating meetings, workshops, and preparing papers.

About You
You are an organised, detail‑focused professional who enjoys supporting projects end‑to‑end. You’re confident assessing detailed information, escalating issues, managing competing priorities and keeping tasks moving efficiently.
You bring experience reviewing application documentation, supporting project delivery, maintaining accurate records and conducting basic research to inform project briefs.
You work well with others to implement plans, solve problems and provide adaptable support across related teams, including coordinating meetings and preparing papers.
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy managing multiple deadlines, take pride in high‑quality work and can balance competing demands while staying aligned with project goals.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking assessments and providing project management and operational support.
- Demonstrated experience in or knowledge of land tenure matters preferred.
