The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is looking for an Investigations Coordinator to provide operational and administrative coordination to support for the management of workplace investigations, Public Interest Disclosures and other integrity matters across the Department.
About the role
Working closely with investigators, managers and senior stakeholders, you’ll coordinate investigation workflows from intake through to closure, maintain accurate records, and ensure matters are handled with discretion, professionalism and care.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting investigations and related matters by:
- Coordinating and tracking investigations, assessments and reviews, including intake, triage, progress monitoring and reporting
- Supporting investigators through documentation management, evidence review, correspondence and timelines
- Maintaining accurate case files, registers and case management systems
- Liaising with internal stakeholders (HR, business areas, legal and integrity teams) and, where required, external agencies
- Preparing clear, high‑quality reports and correspondence for senior executives and delegates
- Contributing to continuous improvement of investigation processes, templates and guidance material
About you
You are organised, professional and comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information. You can manage multiple matters at once, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgement in a complex environment.
You’ll bring:
- Experience supporting or coordinating investigations, reviews or organisational processes in a complex environment
- Strong written communication, record‑keeping and attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage competing priorities
- High levels of professionalism, resilience and integrity
- Knowledge of — or the ability to quickly learn — NSW public sector frameworks, including Public Interest Disclosures and employment legislation
