Join the People, Culture and Safety team at DCCEEW and play a critical role in delivering workforce insights that inform senior decision‑making and support a sustainable, high‑performing organisation.
As a Workforce Data & Insights Analyst, you’ll deliver high‑quality workforce reporting and analytics that support evidence‑based decisions across the Department. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, People Partners and central agencies, building strong relationships across the business to understand workforce challenges and translate them into actionable insights.
This is a hands‑on analytical role with strong visibility, autonomy and impact—ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with active stakeholder engagement and taking the time to understand how the business really operates.
About You
You’re a confident and curious analyst who enjoys solving problems and influencing decision‑making through data. You’re not just comfortable working with numbers—you enjoy working with people, building relationships and understanding the story behind the data.
You bring demonstrated experience analysing workforce or business information and translating insights into clear, meaningful and accessible outputs. You’re proactive, willing to ask questions, and comfortable facilitating discussions or workshops to test insights and understand business needs. You also bring strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, proficiency in Microsoft data and analytics tools, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences, while handling sensitive data with discretion and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, HR, Data Analysis or equivalent experience in a similar role.
