The Senior Contract Manager leads the management of high value, complex contracts across a diverse portfolio of Centres and Venues, ensuring strong governance, supplier performance and value for money. Responsibilities include setting clear contract management frameworks, maintaining accurate contract information, and supporting consistent, compliant practices across geographically dispersed operations.
Working closely with operational leaders and procurement partners, the role provides expert advice, oversees contract transitions, negotiates variations, and proactively manages risk and performance. Also building capability across teams through coaching, guidance and specialist support, while leading a small team to deliver effective contract and procurement outcomes.
You will bring a confident, practical approach to managing complex contracts and supplier relationships in a regulated environment. You can work across multiple stakeholders and sites, balancing governance requirements with real-world operational needs, and providing clear advice that supports sound decision-making.
You are someone who:
- Leads end-to-end contract management for high value, complex arrangements, ensuring compliance, governance and value for money.
- Provides expert advice on contract conditions, variations, extensions and performance management.
- Builds strong, constructive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage risk and resolve issues.
- Coaches and supports managers to strengthen contract management capability at the local level.
- Oversees contract onboarding and transition activities, supporting teams through change.
- Contributes to major procurement activities, including tender documentation, evaluations and approvals.
- Uses evidence and data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive better outcomes.
- Leads and develops a small team, setting clear expectations and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Essential Requirements
- Hold a Current Class C drivers licence.
- Ability to travel at least monthly across NSW to provide on-site support to Centres and Venues.
- Obtain and maintain a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
