  • Clerk Grade 5/6 - Salary ranges from $99,938 to $110,271 + super & leave loading 

 

The role  

The Assistant Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high‑quality programs across the Office of Sport’s Centres and Venues. You’ll work closely with the Program Coordinator to provide administrative coordination, customer liaison and communication support, helping ensure programs run smoothly and meet customer needs. The role also provides direct customer service and may assist with the facilitation of program activities as required. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support the planning, development and delivery of a range of programs and services. 
  • Provide responsive, high‑quality customer service, including managing enquiries and customer communications. 
  • Act as a customer liaison to help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment. 
  • Assist with program delivery through activity facilitation and administrative support. 
  • Accurately collect, maintain and manage client data, ensuring timely reporting and information distribution. 
  • Coordinate support service providers and work collaboratively with Customer Operations and contracted service providers.

You bring strong communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service. You’re confident engaging with diverse customers and stakeholders, and you enjoy supporting program delivery through both administrative coordination and hands‑on activity support. You’re organised, tech‑savvy and comfortable managing data and systems accurately.  

 

Essential Requirements 

  • Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation/Leadership or relevant tertiary qualifications, or relevant industry experience 
  • Obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 
  • Current Class C drivers licence 
  • Requirement to work across any day of the week (Monday to Sunday), including evenings and participation in on call arrangements, in line with business and roster needs.
