The Project Officer, Executive Services provides high-level executive, business and project support to the Executive Officer. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the role contributes to the achievement of strategic and operational objectives through effective coordination, reporting, planning and continuous improvement activities.
The role plays a key part in the design, implementation and evaluation of internal communication and engagement strategies, programs and initiatives that support the Division’s strategy, policy and planning priorities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and analytical professional who has experience in complex environments and enjoys delivering high-quality outcomes for senior leadership.

About You
You are a highly organised and proactive professional with strong project coordination and analytical skills, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
You bring well‑developed written communication skills and experience preparing high‑quality, executive‑level briefs, reports and correspondence on complex and sensitive issues.
You demonstrate sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information, and you are adept at analysing and translating complex information into clear, concise and actionable advice.
With a collaborative and stakeholder‑focused approach, you build effective working relationships across diverse teams and contribute positively to the delivery of high‑quality executive support services.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in and demonstrated sound knowledge of business and performance evaluation systems and their implementation
- Sound writing and editing skills, with demonstrated experience in developing and coordinating material to assist in effective communication and issues management in a complex, geographically dispersed organisation
- Understanding of relevant statutory, regulatory and policy frameworks governing the public sector.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
