- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $88,008 to $98,132 + super
Our Licensing and Approvals team is currently seeking to appoint a Program Support Officer to provide high‑quality program support services in the administration of Biodiversity Conservation licenses. The role is key to the regulatory administration of the commercial biodiversity licensing, including the processing of licence applications and renewals, landholder consents, tag applications, customer enquiries, data entry, and the processing of licence and tag fee payments.
About You
The role operates with a degree of autonomy within an agreed work plan and makes decisions within delegated authority. The role is accountable for the delivery of assigned work and operates under the direction of the supervisor/manager on work priorities, complex issues, and matters requiring higher level authority for determination or resolution.
Key knowledge and experience
- Experience working in a program support role within a complex government program or comparable program environment.
- Demonstrated program coordination experience, including well developed time management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage high volume workloads, prioritise competing demands, and meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and initiative when working with minimal supervision, and to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
