  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $88,008 to $98,132 + super

 

Our Strategic Policy, Science and Engagement team is seeking an Administration Support Officer to provide high‑quality administrative and business support services. This role is central to the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the group and offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

 

In this role, you will provide a broad range of administrative and coordination support, including managing meetings and events, handling enquiries, maintaining records and supporting recruitment and onboarding activities. You will assist with financial administration tasks such as processing purchase orders, monitoring expenditure, managing invoices and generating reports. The role also involves supporting the Deputy Secretary and Executive Manager with scheduling, correspondence, travel coordination and document management, as well as assisting teams across the group with ad‑hoc administrative needs during peak periods.

 

About You

 

You are a reliable and organised administration professional with experience providing business and operational support in a fast‑paced environment. You have strong attention to detail and are comfortable working with systems such as content management platforms and finance systems to manage records, process transactions and support accurate reporting. You understand the importance of following policies and procedures and can apply them confidently in your day‑to‑day work.

 

Collaborative and adaptable, you work well with people at all levels and enjoy contributing to a positive team culture. You can manage competing priorities, work independently when required and exercise sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality. With strong organisational skills and a customer‑focused approach, you take pride in delivering timely, high‑quality support that helps the team operate effectively.
