  • Project Officer Spatial Services and Customer Delivery – multiple positions
  • Temporary Positions (between 2 to 4 years) full-time opportunity
  • Office locations – Orange, Parramatta (other locations by negotiation may be considered)
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $109,102 to $120,542 + super

 

Our Spatial Services and Customer Delivery team is currently seeking to appoint a number positions to role of Project Officer -  Spatial Services and Customer Delivery.  A talent pool may also be created.  These positions assist in the implementation of operational policy and programs. The roles are key to the delivery of reviews of the NSW Native Vegetation Regulatory Map and NSW Biodiversity Values Map.

 

 

About You

You are a motivated and adaptable project officer with a strong foundation in customer-focused program delivery. You bring sound knowledge of current NSW policy and programs for delivery of regulatory map reviews along with demonstrated expertise in computer-based mapping and spatial analysis of biodiversity and environmental data. Comfortable working in a high‑volume environment, you communicate complex information clearly, and are skilled at planning, prioritising and delivering work to tight timeframes while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, integrity and professionalism.

 

Knowledge and experience

  • Sound demonstrated knowledge of the operational and strategic requirements for the successful delivery of map review programs in the context of current policy and legislative frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in computer-based mapping and analysis of biodiversity and environmental spatial data.
  • Demonstrated high standard of verbal and written communication skills particularly in a customer service environment
