Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust is seeking a Manager Program Delivery, who can Lead and manage the Operational teams of Jenolan Caves across Visitor Experience and Marketing, Hotel and Hospitality Operations and Conservation and Maintenance

 

  • Manager Program Delivery (Clerk Grade 11/12)
  • Temporary Full-time role available till June 2027
  • Located at Jenolan Caves, 3 hours from Sydney and 25 minutes from Oberon
  • Package includes base Salary from $149,739.00  to $173,174.00, plus employer's contribution to superannuation

About the role

Manager Program Delivery to lead and manage a small multi-disciplinary team to lead and undertake work to enable the successful coordination and delivery of the Jenolan caves program. You will lead workstreams to achieve milestones, coordinate resources, engage stakeholders and support the successful delivery of the team.

You will be working with the Director and leading a team to deliver key outcomes for Jenolan Caves in the development, planning and implementation of key operational programs and translate strategies into operational outcomes that directly contribute to the achievement of the Jenolan Caves Strategic Plan.

 

About you

  • You will have experience leading a multi-disciplinary team and as a natural team player, you can hit the ground running with a “can do” attitude.
  • You will have strong project management and problem-solving skills, and an understanding of government processes. 
  • Our ideal applicant will also have experience in delivering complex projects or advising on critical decisions in a high-pressure environment.

 

 Key knowledge and experience

Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience managing diverse teams to deliver against

strategic priorities.

• Knowledge and experience of conservation, heritage, asset and land management, visitor experience, marketing, hotel and hospitality management and community consultation

The Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust is responsible for the care, control & management of the Jenolan Visitor Use and Services Zone. This is regarded as being both environmentally and culturally significant. The Visitor Use and Services Zone includes, but is not restricted to, Caves House, retail areas, kitchen areas, front office, staff and guest accommodation, walking tracks, maintenance areas and the Caves System.
