The role
Join a high‑profile, whole‑of‑government team working to improve how NSW Government manages its vehicle fleet and supports modern, sustainable ways of working.
As a Project Officer, Fleet Mobility and Innovation, you’ll support the delivery of innovative fleet and mobility initiatives that improve utilisation, strengthen data‑driven decision‑making, and deliver practical outcomes at scale across government.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across projects, data and stakeholders — and wants exposure to meaningful, system‑wide change.
In this role, you will:
- Support the delivery of whole‑of‑government fleet mobility and innovation projects, helping turn strategy into action
- Analyse and visualise fleet data to support reporting, dashboards and evidence‑based decision‑making
- Produce data extracts, analysis and reporting using contemporary analytics and reporting tools.
- Provide project management support, including preparing briefs and reports, maintaining documentation, monitoring plans and tracking milestones
- Support engagement with NSW Government agencies and stakeholders, including coordinating working groups, meetings and consultations
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies and provide timely insights to support successful project delivery

What you will bring to the role
You’re organised, analytical and enjoy working across projects, data and stakeholders. You bring:
- Strong data skills, with experience using analytics or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL or similar.
- The ability to interpret data, identify insights and clearly communicate findings.
- Experience providing project management or operational support in fleet, transport, mobility, infrastructure or similar environments.
- Confidence working with a diverse stakeholder group across government.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
What is an essential requirement:
Tertiary qualifications in information technology and data analytics (preferred), program/project management, policy, operations, commercial or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
