  • Temporary role up to 30 June 2027 - full-time at 35 hours per week
  • Located in Parramatta with hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 up to $125,720 pa plus superannuation.

 

We are seeking a motivated and outcomes-driven Project Officer to support the delivery of the NSW Government’s Energy Social Programs.

This role plays a key part in delivering strategic, governance and operational initiatives that improve customer outcomes and create public value.

Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting program management, stakeholder engagement, event coordination, continuous improvement and compliance activities.

You will be responsible for coordinating stakeholder forums, workshops and community engagement events that support program delivery, strengthen partnerships and enhance communication with key audiences.

About You

You are a proactive and analytical professional with strong project management capabilities and a passion for delivering meaningful outcomes. You thrive in a complex environment and are confident balancing multiple priorities. You will bring:

  • Experience in project coordination or delivery within a policy, program or government setting
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating events, workshops or stakeholder engagement activities
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level briefs
  • Proficiency in project, reporting and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Office Suite, Teams, project management or data systems)
  • A collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining quality outcomes

 

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant experience.
