  • Temporary full-time opportunity up to 24months (2 years), 35 hours/week 
  • Office location - Parramatta, flexible working supported  
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 to $173,174+ super & leave loading

About the role 

As an AI Specialist, you will lead the design and delivery of AI solutions from concept to scale, integrating with platforms like Salesforce and Microsoft Fabric while ensuring solutions are ethical, secure, and aligned with business goals. You will work across technical and business teams to embed AI and unlock new opportunities for innovation and efficiency, driving real impact. You will also lead the AI best practices, AI governance for the team and wider business.

About You 

To be successful in this role, you will: 

  • Lead design and implementation of tools, platforms such as automation engines, AI services and workflow orchestration solutions 
  • Desing and build Generative AI solutions, including Copilot, chatbots, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and intelligent automation use cases 
  • Create and maintain automation pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and system-to system integration  
  • Implement monitoring, logging, validation, evaluations to ensure reliability 
  • Have experience in AI/MLOps and responsible AI governance 
  • Be confident translating business needs into practical AI solutions  
  • Collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders  
  • Have exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and data ecosystems  
  • Be comfortable leading POCs and scaling solutions  
  • Bring a curious, innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills  
  • Be able to balance innovation with risk, compliance, and privacy 
 

Key knowledge and experience 

  • Strong background in software engineering, automation and applied AI 
  • Hands-on experience with AI services, machine learning models, or LLM-based solutions 
  • Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, LLMs or AI agents. 
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, ticketing and analytics platforms 

 

Essential requirements 

  • Certification or training in AI, or a relevant tertiary qualification.
