In this fast-paced and high-profile role, you will coordinate and prepare ministerial and parliamentary materials, including correspondence, briefings and reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with government protocols. You will contribute to key strategic projects, identify emerging risks and issues, and build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making and the delivery of government priorities. You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing team operating at the centre of the department’s executive and ministerial services function.

You bring strong analytical skills and sound judgement, with the ability to identify emerging issues, assess risks and provide well-considered advice—particularly in situations that may be sensitive or politically complex.
You are an excellent communicator who can tailor messages for diverse audiences and build productive relationships across stakeholders. With strong project coordination skills, you can manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality. You are collaborative, resilient and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and delivering outcomes that support organisational and government priorities, including through the use of technology.
