Our People Partnering function is evolving, and this role will help lead that shift. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll tackle complex workforce challenges, shape strategy and strengthen how we partner across the organisation.

 

You’ll play a key role in how we support our people and leaders to deliver outcomes for the people of NSW.

 

About the role

You’ll be at the heart of decision-making - connecting business priorities with people strategy.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy and drive outcomes in complex, high-impact environments
  • Lead and grow a team, building capability, confidence and credibility
  • Strengthen a proactive, insight-led partnering approach across the organisation
  • Use data and evidence to guide decisions, challenge thinking and identify emerging risks and opportunities
  • Lead complex organisational change across diverse parts of the business
  • Navigate competing priorities, bringing clarity, alignment and practical solutions
  • Balance day-to-day priorities with longer-term strategic focus

About You

You bring strong executive credibility and are comfortable operating in complex environments.

 

You:

  • Build trusted relationships and influence at senior levels
  • Bring depth in workforce strategy, organisational change and resolving complex people challenges
  • Lead and grow capability in others, building high-performing teams
  • Exercise sound judgement while balancing competing priorities
  • Use data and insight to inform decisions and shape clear, compelling narratives
