Property and Development NSW (PDNSW) has an opportunity for you to build your expertise in business advisory, financial analysis and performance reporting while contributing to projects that help shape communities across NSW. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll work with a broad range of stakeholders, gaining valuable exposure to budgeting, forecasting and business performance activities that support informed decision-making and the delivery of government priorities.
As an Assistant Business Advisor, you will support the accuracy and integrity of financial and business data, providing insights that help drive organisational performance. You will contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, respond to business information requests, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver analytical support and continuous improvement initiatives that create value for both the organisation and the communities it serves

What you will bring to the role
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting or business performance activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems, reporting tools and technology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and build productive stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial management principles, reporting requirements and compliance obligations, ideally within a government or large organisation setting.
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement, integrity and delivering positive business outcomes.
