EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Transformation and Capability team and play a key role in shaping how EnergyCo’s people navigate change. You’ll support the implementation of new frameworks and initiatives and help build change management capability across the organisation. Working in a small, collaborative and high-performing environment, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to embed sustainable ways of working and support people through periods of change. With genuine variety and exposure to a broad range of transformation activity, this role offers a great opportunity to build your career in people transformation and change.
About You
You have a genuine passion for people transformation and change, and you’re motivated to help people and teams adapt and thrive through periods of change. Whether you have experience with people transformation and change, or you are an experienced policy and/or project professional with a strong interest in this space, we want to hear from you. You bring strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You are proactive, self-directed and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy. Rather than requiring close supervision, you enjoy taking initiative, identifying opportunities to improve processes and driving work through to completion. Your collaborative approach, curiosity, enthusiasm and genuine commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting people through change will enable you to succeed in this newly created role and help shape the team's future success.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in providing project management and operational support

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
We acknowledge the ongoing custodial responsibilities of the Aboriginal peoples of NSW to care for Country and water and are committed to establishing meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal peoples in the management of the environment.
