About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative Business Services team at EnergyCo. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of important business operations and projects. You'll provide high-level administrative support across a broad range of functions, including invoice processing, purchase order creation and management, records administration, stakeholder coordination, reporting and project support. Working closely with internal teams, you'll help drive efficient business processes, resolve complex enquiries and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring operational excellence across the business unit.
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive administration professional with proven experience providing project and operational support in a fast-paced environment. Confident managing invoice processing, purchase orders and financial administration, you have experience using SAP (with MWZ experience highly regarded) and are comfortable liaising with project teams to obtain approvals, resolve payment queries and ensure accurate financial records. You thrive on building strong stakeholder relationships, can confidently manage competing priorities and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience working within a government environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
