  • Temporary role until June 2028 - full-time 35 hours per week
  • Located in Parramatta with hybrid working from home supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $119,292 to $134,587 + super and leave loading

 

About the Team

The Transport Electrification team is delivering more than $300 million in initiatives to support fleet electrification, expand public EV charging infrastructure, and provide consumers with better information. This role supports the EV Destination Charging and EV Kerbside Charging teams, which are delivering Australia's largest destination and kerbside EV charging networks through grant funding programs.

About the Role

This role supports the contract management and delivery of two grant-funded EV charging infrastructure programs, reporting to the Senior Project Officer, Grants Contract Management. Working closely with grant delivery teams, legal advisors and funding recipients, you will help establish and manage grant contracts, monitor progress against contractual obligations, administer funding, and ensure projects are delivered effectively.

 

The position offers a diverse mix of contract management, project coordination and program delivery responsibilities. You will support contract variations, track milestones and risks, prepare reporting and documentation, engage with stakeholders, contribute to process improvements, and assist with grant assessment activities for future funding rounds.

About You

You thrive on bringing order to complexity, with exceptional attention to detail and pride in accurate, high-quality work and record keeping. Highly organised and a strong communicator, you effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines, working independently and collaboratively to achieve team outcomes.

 

You adapt to existing processes while identifying improvements and practical solutions that enhance efficiency. Confident engaging with diverse stakeholders, you keep projects moving by managing expectations, following up actions, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time. Most importantly, you are proactive, dependable, and motivated by delivering outcomes that make a tangible difference for NSW.

 

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Proven experience in grants, contract management, or project management, with a strong track record of supporting project delivery within scope, on time, and to a high standard.
  • Exceptional accuracy in managing documentation, records, and project information.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills across multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills, including reports, deeds, material, and process documentation.
  • Ability to establish, document, and improve business processes, templates, and procedures.
  • Confidence coordinating stakeholders, actions, deliverables, and project outcomes.
  • Experience tracking milestones, risks, reporting requirements, and deadlines.
  • Initiative, independence, collaboration, and task completion.
  • A collaborative approach supporting outcomes across multiple teams.
