The BOS team is delivering a range of exciting projects and programs across DCCEEW. Partnering with stakeholders across the department, the team drives business and technology improvements that enhance systems, processes and services. We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex digital and technology projects that support business transformation and organisational objectives.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Principal Project Manager will manage a portfolio of strategic projects, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive outcomes, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery. You will provide expert advice, lead project teams, and foster strong stakeholder relationships to support informed decision-making and achieve business outcomes.
This role requires someone who can confidently engage across all levels of the organisation, balancing business needs with project priorities while navigating a complex and evolving environment.
About You
You are an experienced project leader who combines strong delivery capability with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. You are comfortable working with diverse groups, influencing outcomes and building trusted relationships that enable successful project delivery.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex digital, technology or business transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across business and technical teams.
- Experience leading project teams and managing competing priorities, risks and dependencies.
- The ability to provide strategic advice and translate business needs into practical project outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Experience in Salesforce projects while working in a complex organisational environment.
- Knowledge of the BOS platform will be highly regarded.
