The role
This role supports the delivery of engaging, integrated marketing campaigns across Greater Sydney Parklands, helping bring parks, events and public spaces to life for the community. You’ll work across digital and traditional channels to coordinate content, manage communications and deliver marketing initiatives that increase visitation, engagement and visitor experience across multiple parklands.

Working with internal teams, agencies and external partners, you’ll contribute to campaign planning, content development and stakeholder engagement, while managing competing priorities and ensuring marketing projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. You’ll also help identify opportunities, resolve issues early and support innovative marketing approaches that promote a diverse range of programs, events and venues.

What you will bring to the role  

  • Demonstrated experience delivering marketing and communications activities, including campaigns, content and promotional materials across digital and traditional channels
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing tools and platforms, including CMS, social media channels and eDM systems
  • The ability to contribute to creative and innovative marketing strategies, with an understanding of audience engagement trends and principles
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging content for a range of audiences and stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated experience building productive working relationships across teams through proactive communication, collaboration and a visible, approachable working style.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a complex environment
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to identify issues early and contribute to solutions that support successful delivery
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 3 days per week across both Greater Sydney Parklands offices at Centennial Park and 6PSQ, in line with Greater Sydney Parklands’ flexible working policy.



What is an essential requirement:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or Communications (or related discipline) or equivalent experience in Marketing and Digital Marketing.
  • Ability to be contacted and work outside of normal bandwidth hours and on weekends if required.
  • Current Driver’s license and ability to travel for work at any site within the Greater Sydney Parklands portfolio as directed.
