  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,981 to $129,492 plus super

The role
Crown Lands is seeking strategic, collaborative and outcomes-focused Policy and Project Officers to help deliver projects that strengthen the management of Crown reserves across NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment, building relationships across diverse teams and are motivated to deliver initiatives that transform policy into practical support for our Crown land manager network.

As a Policy and Project Officer in the Programs and Partnerships Directorate, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of a diverse range of projects, programs and initiatives that support governance and oversight across Crown reserves. Drawing on your research, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, you will help inform decision-making, develop practical solutions and deliver meaningful outcomes for Crown land managers and the communities they serve.

What you will bring to the role

  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in project management, land management, natural resource management or a related field.
  • Experience delivering strategic projects, programs or initiatives while managing competing priorities and meeting agreed timeframes.
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret legislation, identify solutions and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
