In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping sustainable development outcomes across NSW by providing expert water assets and infrastructure advice on major development applications, State Significant Development projects and rezoning proposals. Working within a collaborative and high-performing team, you'll undertake complex technical assessments, engage with key stakeholders and influence planning decisions that support growing communities. Senior Advisor Water Assets and Infrastructure
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in water assets and infrastructure, including water, wastewater and/or stormwater planning, assessment or advisory services.
- Can undertake complex technical assessments and translate technical information into clear, practical recommendations for a range of stakeholders.
- Brings strong knowledge of the NSW planning and development assessment environment, including relevant legislation, policies and standards.
- Has experience reviewing infrastructure strategies, technical reports, modelling outputs and risk assessments to support informed decision-making.
- Is a confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement and technical writing skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes and attention to detail.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and building productive relationships with government agencies, industry partners and internal stakeholders.

Essential requirements
- Degree qualification in a related relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience e.g., Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Water) or Urban Planning.
