The role

Help create memorable experiences that bring people together across one of Sydney’s most iconic precincts.

The Bookings & Sales Coordinator is a customer‑focused role responsible for coordinating venue hire bookings at the Aquatic Centre.

You'll connect schools, sporting organisations, community groups and businesses with experiences at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre and drive bookings, sales and outstanding customer service.

About you

  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver positive customer experiences across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey information and coordinate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, applying initiative and sound judgement to improve processes and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.

 

Key Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience in bookings, sales, administration and events and/or knowledge and experience in the selling of events and spaces.

 

Essential requirements

  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
