The opportunity

Join the NSW EPA's Digital Programs team and play a key role in delivering innovative digital solutions that support environmental regulation and community outcomes across New South Wales. As a Digital Coordinator, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of digital initiatives, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to coordinate activities, manage risks, support governance, and drive positive delivery outcomes.

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, requiring strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. You will play an important role in ensuring solutions are successfully adopted by users through the coordination of end-user testing, business readiness activities, training, and stakeholder engagement. Your work will directly contribute to improving digital services, enhancing customer experiences, and delivering operational efficiencies across the EPA.

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and highly organised with experience supporting the delivery of digital and technology initiatives within a complex organisation. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple workstreams, and deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.

You have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to build productive relationships with business users, technical teams, vendors, and project stakeholders. You are experienced in coordinating user acceptance testing, facilitating workshops, developing training materials, and delivering training sessions to a diverse workforce with varying levels of digital capability. You enjoy solving problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting successful change adoption across the organisation

Please note that it is an essential requirement of this role for the successful candidate to have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in a related field.

The Digital Programs team delivers a broad portfolio of strategic digital and technical initiatives that support the EPA's mission of protecting and enhancing the environment of New South Wales. Working across regulatory, operational, policy, corporate, and technology functions, the team drives digital transformation, modernisation, and continuous improvement through the delivery of secure, customer-focused digital solutions.

Our team works closely with business stakeholders to ensure new systems and processes meet user needs, are thoroughly tested, and are supported by effective training and change activities.
