About the Opportunity
Join EnergyCo at the forefront of NSW’s energy transformation and play a key role in shaping the future electricity network. As the Senior Power System Analysis Engineer, you will lead complex power system modelling and analysis activities that support the successful integration of renewable energy infrastructure across the state. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will provide expert technical advice, collaborate with industry stakeholders, network businesses and government agencies, and contribute to the delivery of major Renewable Energy Zone (REZ),transmission and distribution projects. This is an exciting opportunity to influence critical infrastructure outcomes, work with technical specialists, and help deliver a reliable, affordable and sustainable energy future for NSW.
About You
You are a proactive and highly capable power systems professional with strong experience in power system planning, modelling and analysis. You thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and are comfortable taking ownership of deliverables from concept through to completion. You combine technical expertise with commercial awareness and sound judgement, enabling you to develop practical, innovative solutions to complex network integration challenges.
You are also an effective relationship builder who enjoys working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders. With strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you can explain complex technical concepts clearly, influence outcomes, and build trusted partnerships across industry, government and project teams. You are motivated by making a meaningful contribution, continuously improving processes, and supporting others to achieve shared goals.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent relevant experience.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority network infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
