  • Temporary full-time opportunity (Up to November 2028) (35 hours per week)
  • Office location - Parramatta or location negotiable across NSW. Hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $119,292 to $ 134,587 + super

 

Our Strategic Priorities and Coordination team is currently seeking to appoint a Divisional Coordinator to coordinate executive correspondence, briefing workflows and strategic priorities, ensuring leaders have the information and support needed to make informed decisions and deliver key outcomes for NSW

 

As Divisional Coordinator, you'll play a key role in connecting people, priorities and information across the Strategic Priorities and Coordination Division. Supporting senior leaders, you'll coordinate executive workflows, prepare and track briefs and correspondence, and help deliver projects that contribute to environmental and policy outcomes for NSW. This role offers a broad view of divisional priorities and the opportunity to work across a diverse range of strategic issues while building strong networks across DCCEEW.

 

About You

 

You have experience coordinating executive, ministerial or parliamentary correspondence and briefing processes within government or a complex organisation. You can manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and produce high-quality documents, research and analysis that support decision-making.

 

You are organised, collaborative and confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders. You communicate clearly, use sound judgement and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys coordinating complex work, solving problems and helping teams deliver outcomes.

 

Key knowledge and experience

 

  • Experience coordinating ministerial, parliamentary or executive correspondence, briefs and workflow processes in a government or complex organisational environment.
  • Experience providing policy, project or executive support, including coordinating multiple priorities and delivering quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
  • Experience undertaking research, analysis and preparing briefs, reports, correspondence and other documentation to support decision-making.
