We're looking for a Senior Finalisation Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in finalising Crown land divestments across New South Wales.
About the Role
As a Senior Finalisation Officer, you'll provide specialised technical, property management and administrative expertise to support the successful completion of Crown land divestments. Working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, you'll ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining compliance with legislation, policy and operational requirements.
This is an opportunity to apply your property and conveyancing knowledge to complex and interesting land matters that make a real difference to communities and public land management outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Manage land administration and conveyancing activities to finalise Crown land divestments within agreed timeframes.
- Prepare specialised technical documentation relating to conveyances, title creation, lodgements and other land dealings.
- Develop high-quality briefs, reports and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Provide expert advice and support to colleagues, customers and stakeholders on land management and divestment matters.
- Research and interrogate land information systems and services to obtain accurate land status and transaction information.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of land information and records.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders to keep transactions moving and achieve successful outcomes.
- Respond to enquiries professionally, accurately and in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with:
- Strong experience and understanding of property management and land administration in relation to the sale of land.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the business environment and land administration legislative requirements.
- Strong experience and skills in evidence-based investigation and assessment.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including the preparation of reports, briefs and recommendations.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Essential requirements
- Qualifications in property management or other relevant field and/or equivalent level of industry knowledge and experience.
