The role
The Transformation Management Office (TMO) is DPHI's enterprise transformation and change management function. We help leaders deliver the right change, at the right time and in the right way by providing portfolio visibility, governance, assurance and delivery support across the department.
As the Senior Transformation Portfolio Officer, you'll play a key role in helping build and mature DPHI's enterprise transformation portfolio capability. Working across a range of strategic initiatives, you'll provide assurance, insights and advice that support informed decision-making and successful transformation outcomes.
It will be your role to support the governance, assurance and oversight of transformation, reform and business improvement initiatives across the department. You will conduct assurance reviews and delivery confidence assessments, support governance and stage-gate processes, analyse portfolio risks, dependencies, benefits and organisational impacts, and develop insights and recommendations that inform executive decision-making. Partnering with leaders and initiative teams, you will provide objective advice, constructive challenge and portfolio visibility to help improve delivery outcomes and support successful transformation across the organisation.

Working with senior leaders, you will contribute to enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and gain broad experience typically developed across multiple transformation programs, portfolio offices or consulting environments. Joining DPHI's newly established enterprise Transformation Management Office, you will help shape its direction, influence organisational outcomes and strengthen how transformation is governed, assured and delivered across the department.

What you'll bring
- Experience in transformation, portfolio management, governance, assurance, program management, organisational change, business improvement or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to interpret complex information and identify meaningful insights.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
- Sound judgement and the ability to provide objective advice and constructive challenge.
- Experience working across multiple initiatives in a complex organisational environment.
