If you enjoy untangling complex application issues, keeping critical platforms running smoothly, and making technology work better for people, this role puts your skills where they truly matter.

At DCCEEW, technology underpins how we protect the environment, manage water resources and drive the transition to a net‑zero future. We are looking for a Support Analyst – Applications & Platforms to help keep our packaged applications, websites and digital services reliable, secure and ready for what’s next.

About the role

As a Support Analyst, you will provide operational support for the packaged applications, websites and digital services our people rely on every day to protect the environment and inform the public. You will:

  • Support packaged applications and websites hosted across cloud, managed and hybrid environments
  • Triage incidents and respond to service requests
  • Restore services quickly when things go wrong
  • Test and implement application and website changes across test, staging and production environments
  • Identify opportunities to automate routine support, monitoring and administration tasks
  • Track service availability and performance, and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and improve services

This is a hands‑on role with real variety — from incident response and problem management to application administration, vendor coordination and continuous improvement across content management systems (CMS), websites, packaged applications and related integrations.

About you

You don’t need to tick every box, but you will likely bring practical experience supporting packaged applications, websites or digital services across cloud, managed or hybrid environments. You will understand incident, problem and change-management practices and be comfortable troubleshooting issues across applications, integrations and supporting services. You will be customer focused, able to manage competing priorities and confident working with technical teams, business stakeholders and external vendors. Relevant tertiary qualifications are welcome, but practical, hands-on experience is just as important.

Cyber security is everyone’s responsibility at DCCEEW. In this role, you will play an active part in protecting the Department’s digital resources and supporting a strong security posture.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in application, website or digital service support
