Job responsibilities
- Build Enterprise Infra, Cloud and Containerized architecture to align with the technology roadmaps of the Bank.
- Define end-to-end cloud and virtualization infrastructure strategy, standard and process, establish framework and operation model for enterprise architectures, and manage system infrastructure using cloud and virtualization standard and technique.
- Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards and best practices related to enterprise architectures, and ensure they are consistently applied.
- Maintain and review IT technical standard components to align with the technology roadmaps.
- Identify, evaluate and manage the associated risks related to Infra and Cloud architecture.
- Provide expert advice on technical best practices, industry trends and emerging technologies in related domains (including but not limited to Cloud, and 5G/6G, SDDC).
- Research, identify, and evaluate new technologies or products in the related area that are of value to IT development.
- Provide advisories for technology innovations for business challenges.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 10 years of post-qualification IT experience with minimum 5 years in Infra Architect or Cloud Architect related roles, preferably in banking or financial services industries.
- Strong experience in managing IT infrastructure, including network, storage, server, OS, virtualization technology, databases, middle-tier software management.
- Strong experience in designing and managing Infra / Cloud platforms and related technologies, including but not limited to K8S, Docker, OpenShift, software-defined data centers and distributed databases.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure architectures, particularly in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS enterprise cloud computing and containerized architectures, technology, and applications.
- Good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF.
- Good knowledge of emerging technologies, market best practices and industry trends.
- Profound knowledge in enterprise security architecture, design and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
- Proven strategic thinker to provide big picture and visions for future technology development.
- Holder of related professional certificates are definitely an added advantage.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as IT Architect.
