(Senior) Funds & Alternative Investments Manager, Private Banking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary product expert and key point of contact for relationship managers and investment consultants on all fund and alternative investment products.
  • Equip frontline teams with the knowledge, tools, and messaging needed to effectively position and promote fund products to clients.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality sales collateral, product fact sheets, comparison guides, and client presentation materials.
  • Deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and regular enablement sessions to enhance frontline teams’ product knowledge and selling confidence.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify differentiation opportunities and support effective product positioning in the market.
  • Monitor product sales performance, analyze trends and feedback from the field, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to both frontline teams and senior management.
  • Regularly engage with internal stakeholders and frontline teams to gather feedback, address product-related queries, and resolve sales obstacles.
  • Collaborate on sales campaigns, client communications, and initiatives aimed at accelerating fund product sales.
  • Provide proactive day-to-day support to frontline teams on product questions, client objections, competitive situations, and tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (CFA, CAIA) would be a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund products with a strong track record in a sales support or product specialist role within banking or asset management.
  • Deep knowledge of mutual funds and proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, client-friendly messaging. Knowledge in alternative investment funds would be a plus.
  • Experience successfully partnering with frontline sales teams to drive product sales and distribution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data and market insights into practical investment and sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is required
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Sales-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
