Responsibilities
- Participate in the product development of funds and alternatives investment products and conduct product due diligence
- Introduce quality business partners to Private Banking, key tasks include but not limited to fund house evaluation, distribution agreement coordination, and operational flow monitoring.
- Conduct regular review on current products to ensure the compliance requirements are well satisfied.
- Update the latest information about onboarded funds, including but not limited to risk rating, high yield, tenor, derivative use, complex products etc.
- Conduct regular review and evaluation on existing fund houses and their products, perform system update and announce the latest adjustment for frontline staff.
- Perform periodic review on internal policies and procedures.
- Participate in system maintenance and enhancement.
- Handle file maintenance, and compile regular and ad-hoc reports for management or other departments' review.
- Work closely with frontline staff to assist and recommend appropriate fund solutions that meets clients’ investment goals and risk tolerance, and develop investment strategies to meet their needs.
Requirements
- Degree holder or above in business, finance or related disciplines
- Holder of professional qualifications in Finance (e.g. CFA, FRM) or Investment discipline will be a plus
- 5 years or above solid working experience in banking or financial industry, particularly in the business /product and sales management of private banking / asset management will be a plus
- Experience in mid/ back offices such as fund house will also be considered
- Possesses solid knowledge in fund management and various alternative investment products, familiar with regulatory requirements
- Strong communications, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Agile and flexible to adapt
- Strong computer skill such as MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; with prior experience in system enhancement project
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
