Senior /Business Technology Manager (Life Insurance)

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with life insurance business units on various life insurance/banking system requirements
  • Propose business solutions on business requirements with appropriate technologies
  • Perform business and user requirement analysis, feasibility study and produce requirement and functional specifications
  • Manage and monitor project implementation and progress
  • Communicate and coordinate between business users and development teams
  • Participate in System Integration Test and coordinating User Acceptance Test
  • Provide production support to business units
  • Manage project budget and procurement process.
  • Provide end user training

Requirements

  • Degree holder with major in Computer Science or Business Studies
  • 3 years or above experience in banking/insurance industry
  • 4-8 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in banking or insurance sector. Less year experience will business technology manager.
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills, willing to work in competent, challenging and team-working environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
  • Solid experience to liaise with relevant parties in IT or Business
  • Knowledge in Life Insurance or Insurance products, Regulatory Requirements would be an advantage
  • Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus
