Responsibilities

  • Leading Institutional Sales Division of the Global Market of BOCHK
  • Responsible for the sales and marketing, management of treasury products trading business for BOCHK’s FI clients to proactively drive performance; keeping abreast of changes in market and clients’ demand, giving professional advice on product development and sales strategy adjustment; and cooperating with frontline departments to attend important meetings and sales events
  • Responsible for facilitating the implementation of various projects, and formulating policies and procedures for FI clients’ treasury sales; providing customers with comprehensive treasury product solutions with effective measures against potential or existing risks
  • Communicating with various central banks, with the better understanding of wide scope of the products and provide well-rounded service and coverage based on client’s risk appetite
  • Promoting the development of FI clients’ treasury products trading business in SEA branches and subsidiaries by executing regional management function, improving the SEA branches and subsidiaries’ sales & marketing capabilities, and also promoting the rolling-out and distribution of treasury products in SEA business region
  • Complying with local laws, regulations or codes of various regulatory authorities, and relevant risk management policies and procedures of the bank
  • Formulating and proposing the division’s work plan based on department’s strategies, organizing and fulfilling the annual business plan’s implementation, and motivating the subordinates to achieve performance target

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors or above
  • Securities Intermediary Qualification and ECF-TM Professional Qualification (Professional Level II) are required
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the financial industry and at least 8 years’ experience in capital market related business; with at least 7 years of management experience; with outstanding sales track record. Experience with the coverage of central banks is preferred
  • Possess professional knowledge and insights on capital market with a comprehensive understanding of financial market operations, financial market instruments, and various financial products such as FX, Rates and derivatives, credit etc.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements, industry practices, risk management related concepts and principles
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese with good communication and presentation skills
