(Senior) Business Strategy Manager (Risk and Compliance Control), Institutional Business

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the role as Departmental Operation Risk Manager (DORM) to supervise internal compliance, avoid major credit risk events or non-compliance events, develop and implement an effective legal and compliance practice.
  • Adhere with the DORM of corporate banking segment, proactively audit procedures, performance appraisal, sample cross-checking, self-inspection etc.
  • Develop the internal control and monitoring mechanism in accordance with the laws, regulations and risk policies/procedures.
  • Drive planning and budgeting process and assist the setting and communication of business targets within the department.
  • Prepare various reports for tracking the key performance indicators of the department / for management’s review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above, major in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting is preferred.
  • 3 years' or above work experience preferably in Corporate Banking in sizable banks / financial sectors.
  • Familiar with banking operations and related policies, laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. IT related background is preferred.
