Operation Manager (Cheque Clearing)

Responsibilities 

  • Supervise Clearing of Cheque process to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations and report promptly to superiors for any irregularities
  • Perform quality checking on various deliverables and perform all duties delegated and assigned by the management
  • Closely communicate with various internal and external parties and stay sensitive to market developments, and produce documentation on business plans, system requirements, operating procedures and guidelines
  • Coordinate, manage, and resolve problems during different project stages from project initiation to project implementation and coordinate workflow enhancement of the supervised business routine, to enhance operating efficiency and cost-effectiveness

 Requirements

  • Degree holder or above
  • At least 4 years’ experience in Banking or Financial industry relating to cheque clearing operations / information processing operations
  • Substantial knowledge and exposure in retail banking operations
  • Mature, self-motivated, able to work independently & under pressure, and willing to accept challenges
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time management skills, and risk awareness
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably fluent in Mandarin speaking
