Project Assistant Manager (Operation & Planning)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementation of strategic project planning and holistic project management, includes formulating optimization strategy and action plans on centralized and Smart Operation, monitoring overall project progress and to ensure satisfactory project delivery.
  • Liaise with different stakeholders and act as internal focal point to ensure smooth execution on project level as well as daily operational activities.
  • Responsible for preparing materials (such as PowerPoint and summary report) and assist in regular management reporting.
  • Devise effective capacity planning strategy and mechanism to deliver bank’s strategic direction and department’s operation and resource strategy. 
  • Develop and maintain assessment indicators for operational management, conduct regular evaluation on operations, and provide guidance on improving regional operations productivity and quality.
  • Digest and transform operation data into management reports, helps to monitor, track and predict performance, including but not limited to Operation Efficiency and Effectiveness Report, KPI Performance Report, and Forecast Report.
  • Assist in coordinating overall financial planning, budgeting process and analysis, monitoring and tracking, review of procedures.
  • Conduct data analysis, market research to close the gap with competitors.
  • Provide administrative support and perform ad-hoc duties as and assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in Project Management or Operation in banking/ FI industry is preferred 
  • Ability to track record of delivery to time and to budget. High level of competency in project managing highly complex projects. Proven record of delivering business improvement through transformational projects
  • Evidence of ability to communicate complex issues to service users and other stakeholders, in an effective and clear style
  • Flexible and adaptive to changes, Familiar with computer software like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
