Assistant Risk Manager (IT) (Hong Kong Branch)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing IT risk management policies and procedures for the branch and communicate related requirements to business units.
  • Support the analysis and assessment of IT risks, conduct risk inspections, and implement risk control measures.
  • Assist in managing and monitoring system application development and enhancement projects.
  • Assist in managing and resolving system maintenance and operational issues.
  • Collaborate closely with IT vendors and relevant teams to ensure effective coordination in IT risk management practices.
  • Assist in evaluating IT-related risks of third parties and partner institutions to ensure compliance with management requirements.
  • Perform routine system data maintenance and management tasks.
  • Undertake other assigned duties.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, engineering, accounting, or related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years of IT-related work experience in the financial industry.
  • Solid programming skills and hands-on development experience in Python/Java/VBA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with the following certifications or qualifications:
    • Knowledge of financial markets or relevant risk management expertise.
    • Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, ECF, CFA, FRM, CSX, ACsP, GIAC, or CAMS.
