About the Programme

Global Markets Young Talent Programme is an important staff development initiative. We are determined to invest considerable resources on our trainees by providing learning and job rotation opportunities both in SEA region and in Hong Kong. Upon completion, you will return to your local institution to apply your newfound skills and contribute to the growth of the Financial Market in your home country. With our guidance and support, trainees are expected to grow and progress to managerial positions in Financial Markets business segment.

 

Programme Structure

Our comprehensive Integrated Development Programme designed to cultivate the next generation of financial Global Markets industry leaders. The programme composes of three stages:

 

  • Local Institution (6 months) - Cultural & Industry Knowledge

In the first 6 months of employment, you will be assigned to work in the local institution to understand the local banking industry and corporate culture, so as to build a solid foundation for future growth.

 

  • Hong Kong Headquarters (12 months) - In-depth Learning

You will be offered a valuable opportunity to work in Hong Kong headquarters for 12 months. The challenging business environment can deepen your understanding of the mature financial markets and the business of headquarters.

 

  • Local Institution (Rest of the programme) - Placement & Practice

You will return to the local institution for placement and on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder with at least second upper honors, or Master's degree or above educational qualification
  • Less than 3 years of work experience
  • Proficient in English, ability to communicate in Chinese will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, passionate, responsible and strong team spirit
  • Excellent organizational competence, strong learning ability and communication skill, potential for growth
