Locally hired in one of our Southeast Asian Entities: 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the marketing and trading business for the Bank’s corporate or financial institutions clients; proactively drive performance, keep abreast of changes in the market and clients’ demand, and provide professional advice on sales strategy adjustments.
• Maintain high-quality day-to-day contact with clients, including pitching and closing deals, and ensure proper follow-up of post-deal tasks.
• Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with Traders and other product managers of Global Markets. Work closely within the team to maximise business revenue and support other team members.
• Work closely with other business units across the Bank to cross-sell and maximise synergy for the Bank, and cooperate with frontline departments to attend important meetings and sales events.
• Coordinate with internal departments to negotiate and sign legal documents with Corporate or financial institutions clients.
• On-the-job training will be offered to successful candidates to take a short-term assignment at Bank of China (Hong Kong), and returning to the original hiring country / transferring to other Southeast Asian entities depending on business needs after the secondment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience with derivatives or other investment related products.
• Excellent analytical and marketing skills, and a solid understanding of basic data statistics.
• A strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn about the innovation and application of financial products.
• Adhere to professional conduct with good personal qualities.
• Fulfill the licensing requirements in the hiring country.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and local language(s) in Indonesia / Malaysia /Thailand.
