Job Description:
- Proactively engage and expand relationships with RM teams from financial institutions (e.g., private banks, brokerages, wealth managers) to build a robust referral network.
- Drive the onboarding of HNWI clients from partner institutions onto BOCHK’s EAM platform, ensuring consistent new business flow.
- Support partner RMs in client referral process, including document collection, KYC/AML preparation, account opening coordination, and system registration.
- Coordinate trade routing arrangements, ensuring trade instructions are issued by the partner RM and executed by designated dealers.
- Monitor AUM, trading activity, and performance of referred clients; provide regular business updates and insights.
- Support the preparation of incentive scheme briefings, revenue reconciliation, and sharing reports to ensure transparency and trust.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and partner feedback to inform business strategy.
- Contribute to EAM platform enhancements, process streamlining, and system upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in client relationship, business development, or partnership management within banks, brokerages, or wealth firms; experience in EAM, referral models, or platform partnerships is highly preferred.
- Must hold HKSI Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) licenses, with valid CPD completion.
- Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English for effective cross-institutional communication.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable of extracting and analyzing AUM, trading volume, and other KPIs from banking systems.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, internal platforms) to support report drafting, meeting summaries, and business insights is an advantage.
- Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and resilient in a multi-tasking environment.
- Proactive and results-driven, with a strong focus on new business capture.
