Assistant / Deputy / Credit Risk Manager (Credit Monitoring)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain retail credit portfolio management reports aligned with current credit policies, business strategies and regulatory requirements, enabling timely asset quality monitoring and delivering actionable insights.
  • Support retail credit monitoring through forward-looking analysis, leveraging advanced analytical tools and data-driven methodologies to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in enhancing risk detection mechanisms and implementing multi-dimensional case review processes to strengthen the effectiveness and agility of credit monitoring.
  • Proactively drive automation initiatives across credit monitoring workflows to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve overall operational efficiency.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business Management, Statistics, Risk Management, Data Science and Technology, FinTech, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, preferably with CFA, FRM, HKAB(ECF) qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years ‘experience, familiar with retail credit risk management, loan market and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English; fluency in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, a strong team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and at all levels.
  • Independent, self-motive and able to work under pressure.
  • Good analytical capabilities, with proven experience in credit risk analysis, portfolio monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency in SAS is required, and experience with Python, SQL, R, Alteryx, or Tableau is preferred. 
  • Fast and accurate in both Chinese and English typing.
